Blowing Rock, NC
Spent a few days last week in Blowing Rock where we went to see a one-man show highlighting the career of Groucho Marx. Frank Ferrante has been performing this role for over 20 years and his interaction with the audience was hilarious.
Blowing Rock is a lovely little town, albeit growing rapidly. Especially enjoyable was the General Store, pictured above, that contained more old-fashioned candy than I’ve seen since I was a kid. My favorite find was a pink bubblegum cigar!

Blowing Rock in autumn is like a perfect Stepford Wives town.
