Celebration
Our friend, David, lost his battle with cancer in April. His wife Cynthia held a beautiful celebration-of-life service this morning in her garden. The sky was that incredible shade of Sedona blue and there was only one small white cloud, sitting above us as if looking down. At the end, Cynthia asked us to join hands and her niece sang, “May the Circle Be Unbroken”. The family members stepped into the circle and each one was given a white dove to hold. On signal, they released the birds who wheeled over head and circled back home.
It was another reminder to me of the value of each connection in life and how blessed we are to participate in the celebration.
