Summer Rain

Finally — rain in the rainforest! Brevard, like most of North Carolina is still in the midst of a serious drought, and our mountain waterfalls are mostly trickles of their formal selves. But we’re now in the second day of a promised three-day soaking for which we’re very grateful.
So, the question is: What do you do when it rains for three days?
What would you do ?

Play outside. What the hell right. If we’ve been waiting this long, it’s worth dancing in the rain and getting a little muddy.

I agree. I’ve been waiting for the moment when we all exit our front doors, sans clothes and do a nature dance of gratitude. Except with the power of the latest downpours, we might end up swept into the creek. I guess we can celebrate there.

Curl up in front of the TV with the first season of “The Muppet Show”–or, organize my computer software, documentation, and backups (which was what I actually did today)

Great choices. You can’t go wrong with The Muppets or organizing.
